Job Title: Data Recovery Specialist

Job Summary:

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Data Recovery Specialist to join our team of experts in data management and recovery. The successful candidate will be responsible for recovering data from damaged, corrupted, or inaccessible storage media, as well as providing expert advice and guidance to clients on data management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Recovery:

• Recover data from various types of storage media, including hard drives, solid-state drives, flash drives, and tapes
• Utilize specialized software and hardware tools to recover data from damaged or corrupted storage devices
• Perform thorough analysis of storage media to identify potential data recovery opportunities
• Develop and implement customized data recovery plans to ensure maximum data retrieval

Client Advisory:

• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on data management best practices to prevent data loss
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients on data backup and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement comprehensive data management plans

Research and Development:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data recovery and management
• Conduct research and development to improve data recovery techniques and tools
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop new data recovery solutions and services

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in data recovery, with a proven track record of successful data recoveries
• Experience with data recovery software and hardware tools, such as EnCase, FTK, and X-Ways Forensics
• Strong understanding of file systems, operating systems, and data storage technologies

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
