Job Title: Data Recovery Specialist

Job Summary:

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Data Recovery Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recovering data from damaged, corrupted, or inaccessible storage media, including hard drives, solid-state drives, and other digital devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Recovery Operations

• Recover data from various types of storage media, including hard drives, solid-state drives, and other digital devices
• Utilize specialized software and hardware tools to recover data from damaged or corrupted storage media
• Perform thorough analysis of storage media to identify potential data recovery opportunities
• Develop and implement customized data recovery strategies to maximize data retrieval

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze recovered data to identify relevant information and provide detailed reports to clients
• Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract relevant information from recovered data
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing data recovery efforts, including successes and challenges

Quality Control and Assurance

• Ensure the quality and integrity of recovered data, adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Conduct quality control checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of recovered data
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest level of data recovery standards

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless data recovery operations
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on data recovery progress and results
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data recovery, with a strong understanding of data storage technologies and file systems
• Proven track record of successful data recovery projects, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction

Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of data recovery software and hardware tools, including EnCase, FTK, and X-Ways Forensics
• Strong understanding of file systems, including NTFS, HFS+, and FAT
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
