Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large datasets
• Develop and maintain data architectures that meet business requirements, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and engineers to integrate data solutions
• Optimize data processing and storage systems for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and maintain data quality metrics, monitoring, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Beam, Apache NiFi, or AWS Glue
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts
• Certifications in data engineering or related fields
